Falling Apart or Falling Into Place

Things aren’t falling apart; things are falling into place.

We’ve all had that familiar feeling of life falling apart right before our eyes, trying to hold it together for as long as possible but to no avail.

As difficult as it is to cope when life gets messy and out of control, we have the opportunity to view our struggles as just that, an opportunity. An opportunity  to trust and rest in the One who has everything under control. To the One who never struggles, never worries, never grows weary and never fails. How wonderful is it that we can rely on Someone who sustains our entire lives in His hands. Psalms 66:9 says “For he holds our lives in his hands, and he holds our feet to the path.”  Even if everything around you seems to be falling apart, He will not let you fall.

Oftentimes, we feel weary

over burdens God never told us to pick up. If the load is too heavy, let it go because it doesn’t belong to you.

We have to come to the realization that everything in life will not come out as expected. However, if we trust in His Word and rest in His promises, they will come out exactly the way God has envisioned it. Be encouraged and know that when we’re in God’s hands, we are secure. Things are not falling apart; they’re falling into place. Trust that He knows what He’s allowing. Embrace this season of messiness because that simply means that God is ready to do some cleaning. Rest. Rest in His powerful strength. 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 reminds us that our weaknesses when surrendered to the Lord becomes our strength. This is what it says, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and in difficulties, for the sake of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. for when we are weak, He is strong.”

Today I invite you to surrender your clutter to God. If you’re feeling tired, it’s okay to admit it, you’re not superman or superwoman out to save the world. We already have a Savior and his name is Jesus Christ. Understand that it’s not your job to keep it together, it’s God’s. Oftentimes, we feel weary over burdens God never told us to pick up. If the load is too heavy, let it go because it doesn’t belong to you. Matthew 11:28 says “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, tired, or stressed Jesus makes an invitation to go to Him because He will provide the rest you need. So the next time you feel like things are falling apart, give Him access to clean up some areas in your life that may need a little TLC. Allow Him to rearrange and put everything in its proper order. Rest in the fact that what you think is falling apart, is really falling into the place God wants it to be in.

Be Encouraged, Be Blessed!
