On This Day

As another year comes around

I can’t help but to think of life itself 

These short years on earth 

Are nothing but a vapor

Here today and gone tomorrow

A precious gift wrapped up in love

Signed by our Heavenly Father from above

We are not here to merely exist

There is purpose in the midst 

We were created for such a time as this

Work hard and diligently labor

Dream big and grind 

With God on your side

You are more than capable 

To reach every goal

Yes, it can be attainable

Cherished time with loved ones is irreplaceable

Value family and friends over money

You can always make more dollars

But lost time will never be recovered 

In everything be thankful

For what you have and what you lack

God knows what you need in the moment

And in the appropriate time

You will receive what is meant to be

On this day

On my birthday

I want to encourage you to believe

That there is more in life for you

You’re not here by chance

It’s not a coincidence

There is more for you to see

More for you to receive

There’s a purpose to be fulfilled

Trust Him in all your ways

He always knows best

He sees far beyond than what you could ever perceive

Your life is in His hands

Rest in His promises, His plans are grand

Hoping in Him will never disappoint

He’s never too late, He’s always on point

Receive these humble words

From someone who has surrendered it all

To the One who sees far beyond

Hold on a little longer, it won’t be long 

Never lean unto your own understanding

He’s always right, we’re always wrong

Depend on His ways for all of your days

And you will see His favor and grace

Shine over your face

He will never leave you or forsake you

With each passing day, His love will always remain

Receive these words in your heart today

And in everything, trust Him always
